Rated at 160hp and 185ft-lbs of torque (155 and 180 for the 1994 version), this Gen III 3.1L engine equipped with sequential fuel injection became the main engine for a lot of GM's cars between 1994 and 1999.
A Core engine is a rebuildable complete engine which currently is essentially a bad engine. The only guarantees of it's condition that we make is that it did not fail from a spun rod bearing, and the block will not be "windowed" from parts going through it. Other than that, it can have a number of different possible issues, including but not limited to things like high miles, blown headgasket, bent valves, broken pistons, etc. It will carry no warrantee.
All other engines will carry a 90-day limited warrantee from the date of purchase. This warranty does not guarantee against leaking gaskets as this is a normal occurrence with engines over time. We can offer options to replace any necessary gaskets at an additional cost on a case by case basis,
*Engines do not come with any accessories
Because engines are purchased to meet customer's mileage requirements, once ordered, they are considered a custom order and are therefor not returnable. Details of our return policy as well as all our other policies are posted on the Policies page of the website.
