This is the transmission that came in the 2006 G6 GTP 6 speed.  These transmissions are in used condition as brand new ones are no longer available.

The F40 can be bolted to the following GM engines or anything else that shares the same bellhousing pattern:

• 2.8L MPFI V6
• 3.1L MPFI V6
• 3100 L89 V6
• 3100LG8 V6
• 3400 LA1 V6
• 3500 LX9 V6
• 3500 LZ4 V6
• 3800 series II L36 V6
• 3800 series II Supercharged L67 V6
• 3800 series III L26
• 3800 series III Supercharged L32 V6
• 3900 LZ9 V6
• 5300 LS4 V8*

*Please not that on the LS4, the transmission will need to be modified due to the location of the LS4's starter on the bellhousing.
